Abai Jungle Lodge is situated 47 km to the mouth of Kinabatangan River. It takes an hour by boat from Sandakan jetty and Sukau. It offers simple accommodation with bathrooms. All rooms at Jungle Abai Lodge have fully equipped bathrooms with toilet and hot shower. Toiletries are provided by the hotel. Rooms feature a ceiling fan and netted windows. All the walkways are made of hard wood plank. The lodge is fully equipped with smoke detectors and emergency exits. Abai Jungle Lodge offers 24-hour coffee and tea at their on-site restaurant. Orang Utan Corner Restaurant is air-conditioned for guest’s comfort and features a library where they can relax.

1) Please note that outside beverages are not allowed in Abai Jungle Lodge.

2) Visitors are requested to submit their details such as name (as per passport), sex, date of birth, nationality, passport number, flight details / drop off or pick up point by Marine Custom when making the booking.

3) Guests are advised not to carry large luggage bags are. Bags can be locked and stored at our airport counter / jetty before departing for the lodge. Kindly keep valuable items with you.

4) This package is inclusive of an English speaking guide, land/boat transfers, entrance fees and meals.

5) Camera and video camera fees, airfare, insurance and beverages (alcoholic/carbonated/juice) are excluded from the package.

6) The hotel will not responsible for any delay. Guests who would like to meet at Sandakan Airport are advisable to take MH2042 (ETA08:00) or AK6092 (ETA07:50). Land/boat transfers are provided only once per day. Unscheduled boat transfers can be arranged, and is chargeable by hotel upon request.
